So, me & my roommate Alex were looking at this video and when it was over we looked at the linked videos. One of them was this site: JetLev.com and its a water based jetpack. Crazy right?! It exists. The best part was when it was telling us how it works. It was like a mini boat or something but it was a motor and its "allowing easy storage on most yachts" and its connected to this hose that pumps out this water into this jetpack and u can basically fly in the water.

If you want this precious gift, it's only $99,500. AND just go down to ur local FL or CA JetLav Technolgy store, or even the yacht store will have these. Just for your convenience. FOR REALZ?!

Trying to go to as much Pep Band events as much as possible but my EFFIN work won't really work around it even though I gave them a schedule. RETARDED. I tried to barter with one of my managers hes like hey, can u work from 12-3 on tues. (which im already working 4-close) I'm like I can if i dont work thurs night. hes like ...nvm, good luck bout thurs. im like wow, thanks for not helping and being a dick.
Speaking of which, thats just one example of being bitchy to me that happened to me this week. Idk what was up with this week. Lets see, I parked my car in between a motorcycle & a car, I fit, there was enough room for me & I was going to Pep Band and walking towards the center where the game was & as I was walking away i hear this lady (that was putting on her motorcycle helmet) yell, "yea, bitch...." (blah blah blah i couldn't hear cuz i was like half way down the rd.) but they were leaving so idk what the problem was exactly- I saw a spot, i paralleled parked, and then as they were leaving called me a bitch. makes sense? no. anyways.
Another example that happened to me, at work, when they say i do something wrong they say it like duh, u should know this. so i guess i kinda get offensive. but this time i wasn't. they told me something, i was like no, blah blah. then he was like woah no need to get offensive. im like .....i wasn't..? so wtf there. AND I also don't/barely have time for homework because i'm freakin workin all these doubles. hate. so stupid.

Germany, Switzerland, & a lil France

SO- my trip was AWESOME! We spent most of the week in Switzerland.
Switzerland: We went to 1 or 2 castles there, went down rafting on glacier water and swam in it (very cold), went hiking a lot, hiked up a 1,000 ft mountain & watched the sunset & watched fireworks up there & set some off on our own (well worth the hike literally breathtaking har har), hiked to a waterfall(s), fondued for the first time with the Swiss Alps in the background, took a cable car up the Swiss Alps and hiked the rest of the way up to a 9,000 ft mountain- beautiful view, (different day) rode on the longest cable car in Europe and hiked (bout 7,000 ft mountain) across it & petted some cows (which were everywhere in Switzerland) and they were loud cuz of their bells & rode the train down, Shopped a little and it was a beautiful outdoor shopping area. Feed some ducks, saw a golden man "statue" (real dude) he was cool (before I took the picture of him & Sebastian the statue dude scared this woman and she jumped and it was hilarious lol).
Germany: spent only like 4 days there. Saw 2 castles there (hiked to one castle and RIGHT after we saw it my sole of my boot broke off so i had to hike down the mountain with lopsided shoes- luckily, someone picked me up in a car after i hiked down the mountain a little bit- drove rest of the way), Sebastian's Grandma's bday party, hiked up a mountain that overlooked the little town, went swimming at this indoor/outside pool- had a slide and a GIANT hot-tub where u could swim from one side to the other- and had jets in the pool too, it was a lot of fun, shopped a little there too.
France: Went to one castle there and it rained that day but it started after we were done looking at it, saw a proposal there too- so cute, and went to Monkey Mountain (different day) & fed monkeys popcorn. It was like a free range park- they were sitting on benches & going anywhere they wanted basically- it was cool.
I think thats it- we did something pretty much everyday and pretty much immediately off the plane. But, everything was so worth it. I had a blast :) I'm very happy I got to go :) Hope I didn't leave out anything :p

Have you guys checked out Google+? If you haven't it's kinda like fb but its a little smoother & you can only be invited in. Kinda like a secret club but only if u have their email address LOL. idk. weird. But, anyways, there's this "dropbox" where u can literally drag & drop pictures you want and a lot easier to download. its awesome i wish fb was like that. it'd make things a little easier but the only thing that sucks is that you have to do it one at a time. LAME. anyways. Listening to "The Interior" which is my awesome friend i've known for like 7-8 yrs. His new song is awesome. He's so talented. I miss him. SOOOOO, I'm going to Germany next week- ALREADY! I'm very excited! :) First time out of the country & it's goin take what? 6-8 hrs on the plane. Never been on a plane that long before either. Many things of first for me :p I'm so ready though :) 2 weeks will def be fun- hopefully Me & Sebastian won't kill each other from driving each other insane :/ hah. OH- well, since I'm meeting his other side of his family. He met my other side of my family this past weekend and he had fun and I'm very happy he did. I'm happy he finally got to meet them & everybody liked him- after 3 yrs. :p everyone was like wow- where has he been!? lol but anyways- I hope everything goes well the next two weeks for me :) AND moving into a new apt with my co-worker & her friend, very excited about it :) I'm happy bout movin in with new people & now my friends- this yr will def be fun & interesting :) I'm excited and its getting close. Feel like everything is moving fast & it'd def be a change for me- good changes. :) wanted spice in my life & I got it hah :D

Well, its 4th of July. I made it to my friend's house and I'm staying for a few days :) I'm very excited. This yr is def different from all the other years. Which is good, I need to mix it up lol. I'm actually kind of surprised there wasn't much traffic when I came up last night. It also stormed too so maybe thats why? Idk but the important thing is that I made it in one piece and didn't get lost. Pretty good directions I suppose. Anyways, I'm not sure whats in store for today but I know tonight I'm def seeing fireworks. We might go to the waterfront or we might buy those cheap boxes from walmart. BUT either way, we'll have fun & I'm excited to be here. :)

Can't wait for next weekend when I go to PA for my family reunion :) Sebastian is finally coming up with me! YAY!

Well, just to catch up- I did hang out with Daughter but we didn't go to the beach like planned. It's ok though, we hung out all day & it was a lot of fun. Later on that week we got pedis :) Which was much needed. But, it was so unusual because we never hang out twice in one week. But, I loved it. I needed a "new" face to hang out with. There was a point where I got sick of ...certain people (..ok, maybe just a person). WHICH I'm excited to say, I have 2 roomies for the year! Thank you to the co-worker and her friend. I'm so excited! Talking about new faces... I move in the beginning of Aug. :) YAY! -sigh- I'm so happy I don't have to commute from Spotsy to VCU. This 4th of July is def going to be different. For one, I'm not going to the Spotsy Stars & Stripes Spectaular for fun times & fireworks. Sad, but I'm cleaning so at least I'm being productive. Get me outta this hot apt once & for all.

I gotz no foodz in my apt. Well, cuz im lazy &/or i'm waiting for food to run out and now that it has I don't feel like getting more even though I kinda need it. I have money which is always good :) ANNNNNNND that also means I need to cash my check soon that I got from work. That'd be nice huh?!

Got paid yesterday. Its so much better than the last one. :) I kind of had a realizition this morning and it kinda sucked.

Going to VA Beach- again but this time with daughter. I went w/ Sebastian Sunday and we had lots of fun. The water was kinda cold but it was fun, jumpin over waves, reading my book, Sebas dunking me in/throwing me into the ocean- which for some reason he likes doing. So- I'm excited to go with daughter this time :) I haven't hung out with her for a long time.

Everytime I watch Phineas & Ferb- Doofenshmirtz never disappoints. He's so gullible. Idk how he doesn't see the obvious but it is a kids show and Agent P is awesome lol. -sigh-

I need to take a quick shower then later on tonight I'm seeing Joseph. YAY! I'm glad he's back in rva for a little bit. He's awesome. Anyways, my back sucks & keeps cracking in the same places & it hurts. I think I need a chiropactor. For some reason the spell check isn't telling me how to spell words right so- that why most of these things are wrong. lol oh well. i suck.

I totally need to do something different. I pretty much can't wait to move out of Richmond this summer. Nobody is here so its boring and not a lot to do. Except work....but thats not too fun lol. I want to swim in a pool and I want to hang out with my friends back home. Seems like more there than here right now. But, I know I'll probably change my mind after a while back home.

So, today at work the power went out and I was on dishwasher duty and of course I had to stop and couldn't do much anyways. Woo, the first time during shift change and this what happens. I'm not complaining. lol I have to do my own dishes here at my apt. UGH. dishes -_- hate.

I need to work out again. This stomach isn't what I want. Yoga maybe? Maybe more Jillian Michaels kick ass workout for 30 mins? That seemed to help for awhile. Then I just stopped cuz I'm lazy. :/ No excuse I guess. Anyways, need to kick my butt into gear.

Winding Down

I feel like things are slowing down. Does that mean I'm settling already? I feel like life is in sloowww moootionnnn. I'm just goin to work sometimes its the same ol thing but then every once in a while it likes to pick up speed. I'm going to be moving out of here soon, I need an apt with a/c asap. I might move home just for the summer then move into an apt that I find hopefully in August. BUT, that won't happen unless I finally put a down payment to hold that room for me. I was feelin high hopes but then I was broken down when the guy called and told me that he's cancelling the appts cuz they were already rented or something else happened. SUCKS. I'm nervous about this semester. I'm only taking 2 classes and then going to be working part-time. I don't want to commute if it comes down to it. At least, I have people by my side. Help me get through this stupid situation thats going down. I'm glad I'm finally getting hrs in unlike 2 weeks ago where they gave me a week off and worked one day. Anyways, I realize my rambling keeps going back and forth but its kind of how my mind works. I know, weird. Anyways, I have stuff still bundled up inside me that I wanna type out but I know if I do that one person that I don't want to see it will see it and then I'll never hear the end of it cuz they'll know I'm talking about them. ...yeaaaa. Probably why I don't speak my mind much cuz I get in trouble every time I do. No lie- every freakin time.

I can't wait till July :) Family reunion in PA for a weekend and then the weekend after that I'll be off to Germany & Switzerland :) I'll be gone for 2 weeks. I need it. I'm being stressed out over some things that I shouldn't be.
I feel like I can't do my own thing sometimes or else I'll be critized or made to feel bad just because I didn't do things their way. I'm sorry I made plans already cuz I have a life and you don't? Sometimes I just don't know.

WELL, first off- I thought i had to move back home this summer (which I still might be) until I found out that I'm going back to VCU! Woo! I still have to move out of my apt- i found some cheaper apts here in Richmond. AND some of these apts have AC! Which what i'm living in doesn't have so it sucks here in the summer time. I do like it here cuz its no more than a 10 min walk to the campus but yea, other than that i dont really know too many people here- like in my building. Except for this teacher I met that lives on the first floor. I did meet a dude that lives on the same floor as me but on the other side. But anyways- I want to move. Thats what I'm trying to get at. It'd be nice to go somewhere different.

I got a job at Noodles & co in Willow Lawn. I really like the people there and its so nice, sometimes busy, but I want to be busy so I never know what time it is. Sometimes it is a surprise and like oh, its time to get off work already?! ...ok! lol I'm going to stay during the summer and going to work there Part Time during school- which will also be Part time.

I was reading Jay Asher's blog (Author of Thirteen Reasons Why) and there's news that its going to be turned into a movie. Selena Gomez as Hannah Baker (the lead role). At first, I was like well...idk. But she read the book and she talked to Jay why she loved it and interested in playing the role. First off- I'm happy she read the book. Kinda drives me crazy when I find out the actors didnt read the book that the movie was based off of. Anyways, I started thinking about it and I'm like you know, i can see her doing this role and got kinda excited. Jay is going to be in the movie process- which i'm also excited about. For example: Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist. LOVE that book. HATE that movie- drives me crazy. So many things they left out and changed and I couldnt really enjoy it cuz i criticizing it the whole movie. I still feel bad for Arielle cuz she had to deal with me talking and complaining about it. I'm sorry for that. But, I just love that book. SO, hopefully that doesn't happen with this movie. So, as long as the author is involved to make sure things go the way they're supposed to go then I'll be happy. Like for another example: Harry Potter. JK Rowling was involved and i think you can tell. Yea, some things changed but it wasn't drastic and you could still follow along, got most of the same (major) points, then your good in my book. Love the books & the movies :)

In other news- Pep Band did a recording and that was fun- you could tell people were like omg lets get this over with towards the end. But, we did good. We were there from 11:30-3:00ish. It did seem longer than that but thats how it usually goes.

New Semester

This semester kinda blows. I'm not going to school and in desperate need of a job. I really hope Barnes & Noble hires me, I love bookstores, idk why they haven't gave me a chance like every year I apply to jobs. -_- seriously. I hope they call me. BUT, other than that I applied to other jobs but more like REAL jobs. lol I tried reception, hotel, bookstores, even an advertising internship thats paid. I didn't even get that. SO annoyed. Just need a job for 8 months plus every summer after that. But noooooooo. ANYWAYS, some good news today: I'm hanging out with Ashlee love today :) I'm very excited.

I created a tumblr to help my group for my Mass Comm class to spread the word about how some gov'ts are allowing people to beat up journalist because they're speaking their mind! ITS CRAZY! Here in the US, we are lucky and don't have to deal with this. But, sadly, most other countries do have to deal with it and this is one of the cases thats mind-blowing. I have heard of other cases where they just murder the journalist. This isn't a game! This is serious, real life is crazy sometimes. I bet you you've never heard of such a case. BUT, that's why i am here. To let you fill your brain with knowledge! :)

ANYWAYS, what's up with the weather lately? Today was hot. I sweated. I'm not suppose to sweat in fall. People were wearing shorts. SHORTS! I'm like it's Oct right? Idk but I think it's hotter in Richmond then Fredericksburg. I think it's because the Sun has a lot of sidewalk/asphalt to soak up. I bet it was somewhat cooler there than here. I want my time of year to be nice like warm but still cool. 70-75 degrees. Not too hot and not too cool. Along with the crisp air...that smell. I love it along with the colors of the trees. Plus, I could wear my sweaters. My cute sweaters. Not bulky stupid jackets, and not too hot where I just wear a tank top or shirt. With sweaters it makes an outfit complete plus I look really cute. ANNNNNNNNNND that's always a plus. Looking cute. :D <3 haha.

At least with these past nights, I can get my kind of weather as long as it doesn't get too cold. I wish the days could feel like these nights. It feels sooooo nice! ugh. Fall needs to be longer. It's the perfect weather and it's not around long :( sad.

disappointment

Seems like I've disappointed a lot of people in my life. Especially recently. I've fucked up pretty bad.

I've disappointed my best friends, my family, band, even my boyfriend.

Seems like the only thing I've been loyal to is Hanson. As sad as that sounds, its true.

I'm kind of surprised that I still have friends and well, I'll just call him boyfriend for this. I still can't believe they want to be around me even though I have disappointed them more than once. I know I'm a good person for the most part, i've done good deeds, went to church, done youth group, helped the community, and all that jazz. But, I know I've done a lot of bad things. I've messed up. I feel guilty about a lot of things but recently I feel like I can't go on much longer. Running on empty. I feel like shit and I can't do anything to fix it but to move on because thats all i can do. Why couldn't I be more honest? Why couldn't I be loyal to anyone thats important to me? Ugh. I guess I just have to learn and move on as hard as it may be. But, I am definitely falling apart.

Sometimes I wish I could wear heels in Richmond. But, I can't. Because have you seen the sidewalks and roads? I pretty much kill myself in flats. That means it'd be committing suicide if I wore heels. But I love them. I want more. :/ Sounds like a love/hate relationship with heels lol. Actually, if I think about it Downtown Richmond is a lot better, like where around the Hat Factory is and where the Martin Agency is. So, if I get a job at the Martin Agency then maybe I can move somewhere in that area.

Seriously, I only find like 5 people on AIM anymore. It used to be like a million people were on. Ok, not a million but more than 5!!! I didn't think AIM has gone out of style. right? am i wrong? I guess everyone just strictly uses facebook or twitter or both or blogs such as this one. But these are all just sites, not always directly talking to people, like a chat...quick responses from other people if we can't see them in person. Idk, I just found that strange. Unless, they all changed their screen name and didn't tell me. I sound paranoid. Oh well, it happens.

I'm in a blogging mood for some reason. This like NEVER happens.

I think I understand somewhat on what I have to do on Delicious. The only reason I have that account is strictly because I have to for my mass comm class. Like I said, I already like him waaaaaaaay better than the last teacher I had. This semester seems a lot better than my first semester. Its stupid that I have to re-take classes but, it happens. Re-taking 3 classes this semester then next semester (hopefully i'll pass everything this semester so i can be here next semester)i'll re-take 1 class. yes, i have failed 4 classes already at VCU. I know, not bright.

I just got a phone call from my dad and he just told me that i'm going to have wireless in my apt!!!!! I'm sooooo excited!!!! And I know Sebastian will be thrilled too, then he could do his xbox live and such when he comes over and visits. :D

Anyways, I need to go and call dad back and maybe i'll get some starbucks thats at the bottom of the library. :/ haha oh VCU.

Does anyone understand how to work delicious.com? Because i definitely don't understand how to tag stories and such. I need to do this for my Mass Communications class. I already like that teacher 100% better than my last Mass Comm. teacher. Or professor I should say. I read on how to use it but of course, I still don't understand.

Anyways, first "week" aka two days of school, went well. I'm EXTREMELY happy that my Ele. Astronomy (that I'm taking again) is so much smaller than that big ass lecture hall.

I like my World Cinema professor, he's german. He's cool.

I only had 3 classes these past two days, but I'm determined to do good this semester.

On Monday, I have to skip my first Int'l Relations class :/ oops, oh well, it's for important reasons. I need to go sleep. I have to get up at 8am tomorrow for a stupid pep band meeting. -sigh-

My 2nd semester of VCU is ending fast and soon. I don't know what grades I have for some classes which is kind of crazy but that's what happens when professor's don't use blackboard a lot.

Right now I am currently looking for jobs and hopefully I can keep myself busy and get this job :) I'm applying for a job! (examiner.com), its kind of like a blog but a lot more people will see it than here. I do kinda wish more people would follow me. (No offense Karen <3) While I'm writing this mock writing it says do NOT put it in 1st person so, I'm going to try not to make it about me. I don't think I am but I am when I don't mean to. All I wanted to do is take the audience with me while I explore things for them through personal experience. I would think that'd be better than just a broad perspective. But, I suppose that's just me.

On a weird and random note: someone knocked on my door and a fireman and some guy was there. They asked if I was cooking and i was like nooo and they were like ok thats fine we were wondering since we got a call about it. I was like ook. I looked outside and there was 2 fire trucks and two white trucks that say fire squad or w/e it is. How did I not notice that?!? lol oh well, at least I didn't have to evacuate. lol

I haven't been on here for quite some time. BUT, I have been busy with a bunch of things. School, Pep Band, Friends, Studying, etc. Last semester was horrible. But I think this semester is going along much much much better than last semester. :) Which is a good sign...so far so good.

I guess today is one of those days where I don't have homework and it's nice to not do much :) I have throughly enjoyed Pep Band this year, even though we didn't play at the "tailgate" cookout for homecoming weekend because it was cancelled because of snow. I'm the only clarinet... that shows up... regularly. Yea, its sad. I WAS in the front but i slowly got pushed to the back. Yea, me, 2 flute players, and bunch of saxes. Which I guess is ok.... but i am in front of the mellophones or wait, baritones....lol its sad that i don't remember because well, they do kind of look the same.

ANYWAYS, I have been busy and thinking... maybe a lot more than i should... I've been cooking and baking a lot more also. That's been fun, and surprising myself on how good it is :) I haven't read my books in a while. I miss them. Usually when I come home I just wanna relax and not do much. Maybe homework and/or dishes.... only cuz I have to.

Today, I finished moving in into my apartment in Richmond. It is kind of weird that no one is here and I don't really know too many people yet. So, right now I'm basically lonely but hopefully that won't be for long. But, I do miss my boyfriend the most. I usually see him the most, so I guess its only natural to miss him the most. I did get a little teary eyed and I know that I'll see him every once in a while. It'll take some time to get used to but, I think I can get through it. :) But I do really really really really miss him. <3 But, anyways, so basically everything is set up. All I need is a small dresser and hopefully, my boyfriend's dad will provide that :) I can't believe school is starting on Thursday! Crazy!

So, I got everything that i needed so far. I got the list from Mrs. Huff, I got feedback, i fixed what needed to be fixed except for the capitalization. Yes, that sounds easy BUT in the code i capitalized it but it doesn't show up like that. So, all I can think of it's the type of font I'm using. But I'm not entirely sure how to fix it. Let's recap everything that has happened so far in school:

- I contacted Mrs. Huff in March.

- She didn't contact me until middle of April.

- Got site done within a couple days, just need to put in teachers names and emails.

- She said that she'd give me a list of english teachers and their emails by the next day.

- Its been 4 days now and still nothing, i've tried to look for myself but that seems harder than I thought.

- I want it done so I don't have to worry about it.

- I asked her to look at it to tell me her input, still no response.

I may seem not patient, but she knows my deadlines, and I know she's busy cuz well, she's a teacher. I don't blame her but at least try to fit me in your schedule. I suppose I'll go to her office tomorrow. We'll see what happens. I've been patient for like a month. Tired of waiting.

Mrs. Huff has finally contacted me and we're meeting on Monday. Now I only have a few weeks to work on this stupid site. I hope I don't fail because of her. Seriously. Anyways, Easter is tomorrow and the candy is out already and my sister, Audra, is home for a few days :). I was dancing w/ my niece earlier. That was fun, she was getting fussy so, i danced. Anywho, since she's home I got to see some of her friends today, that was fun :) And because of that, I got my first follower! Even though, it doesn't say. :( This morning, went to the mall and watch my nieces and nephews get their pictures taken but then later in the day found out that Leah, my other sister, and her family got sick like out of the blue. I thought that was random. But, since they were supposed to come over and eat dinner, they got sick and now we have a buttload of chinese food leftover. Oh well. That's why I have a boyfriend that can eat ridiculous amount of food to make it disappear! lol. He took the container of general tso's chicken and that was a big one too plus an egg roll. But, its ok, I still love him :p

This is the most I have EVER written on a blog. Mostly cuz this blog is lame. lol

SO, why wont this underline go away :( GAHHHHHHHHH. This semester needs to be over and i need to pass. I better this is the second time I'm taking both classes. I feel like I'm doing better in 260 then web 2. But, Web 2 sucks. I hate it. BUT i need to pass it to graduate which i need to do cuz i'm going to VCU. I got accepted and everything :) Mrs. Huff hasn't contacted me so, I'm going to go to her tomorrow and see what's up. I need to get crackin :p

i can't believe it took me three months (with some friends help) to figure out all i needed to do was put htm instead of html. I've been trying to get it to that site w/ all the names are on it and u click on mine and nothing even though i did it. AND ALL I HAD TO DO WAS DELETE THE L omg it makes me sooooo mad. ugh. sigh.

This is what my site looks like but for some reason I can't put it where my name is, where the list of students are. I don't know. But if anyone sees this I hope it'll count for something. But you know, I kinda wish that the blogspot would be our site that way it'll be easier for everyone. No hassle of ftp'ing and what not. But that won't happen :(

Alright, so I ftp'd my site and it doesn't show up. Why? I will get that fixed soon but um, once I have it up I'm kinda proud of myself of the site, all I need to do is that it needs to show up and then i have about 3 out of 5 links working. And I need to get crackin on the final site. I kinda feel bad for the person that I'm working with because I know I'm not that good in web 2. Web 2 is NOT my strong point. :p I need to get this class over with.

I tried to FTP my site BUT it won't work, I don't know why. I tried different things and it didn't work from the parent site. I also, don't really remember how to make a web site it's like everything I learned has gone to shreds and it makes me sad but it also makes me know that I don't want to do this for a career, Yes, it's kind of sad that I didn't really make that final decision until the last two classes, which are online. I'm doing ok in 260 but web 2 is killer. I hate it.

b. Didn't find templates all I found was Dynamic Web Template and that didn't give me much

Change to suit needs? Maybe, for pictures and some code. I suppose it depends.

2. I don't think I'm ready yet. I'm kind of scared that I forgot a lot of things and need to re-learn them for this class, plus it was never my strong point.
